At this point I want to digress a little. It should be noted at this point that the Soul is immortal. It cannot die. However, the life it was exposed to whilst on the mortal plane might have been one which taxed it. There might have been trauma in a war situation, for example, or a long period of crippling and painful disease prior to the passing. In this case, it is perfectly normal for the Soul to be taken to what is, in effect, a Spirit hospital to restore its resources. This takes time, Spirit ‘time’.
On circles it is quite common for a contact to be made from a recent, and, on occasion, very recent passing only to find at subsequent circles no further contact until, in our terms, several months have elapsed. Quite often the first contact is when the recently released Soul is helped by a Spirit helper or guide and supported to make contact. This is achieved through contact on the Circle board. It can also be achieved through the mind of an experienced medium who can receive messages. It is often the case that the recently arrived Soul is unable to communicate with enough power to get through the heavy vibration which blankets the Earth. In that situation a supporting spirit with the knowledge and power makes the contact on behalf of the ‘newcomer’, creating the contact. The longer the new arrival is in the Spirit world, the easier it is for them to learn how to create contact. This is noticeable to members of the Circle as time passes here and in subsequent Circle meetings.
Also, there might be good contact when the Circle members are told that the Soul has been told that they will be going away for a while. This is normally where they are taking up a task in the Spirit world and in effect have an induction or training. Perhaps learning how to deal with confused newcomers, or those damaged by their earthly personal connections, bullying or cruel partners springs to mind.
Do not think that spirits waft about on clouds, flapping wings and so on. They have jobs to do, very often ones to which they are admirably suited, such as looking after animals, Souls damaged through cruelty or looking after soldiers blown apart in warfare (a very difficult situation even for the Spirit world). These might be their tasks in progressing their spiritual journey.
SURREAL
From this point on everything is different from our mortal point of view. Surreal. For example, when a person passes, everything is organised so that the ‘newcomer (one of 160,000 newcomers passing over on average every day), will feel quite calm and is surrounded by familiar things, scenery and so on that they are comfortable with and recognise. That might be a mountain setting, a house, gardens, a train ride, sailing or a hobby, anything which would be appropriate for the newcomer to think it was normality. This is a bespoke scenario set up by the exceptional organisation which typifies the Spirit world.
This of course is an illusion. Bespoke situations, 160,000 a day!! Don’t forget I did say you need to open your mind and that the Spirit world is utterly different. It is also enormously complex and, quite frankly, beyond our imagination. That there can be such an ability to create so many scenarios to suit every newcomer from any of the part of the world 160,000 times a day to us is impossible. But, how would we know? There are billions of stars in the sky, anyone can have civilisations that to us look as if they are from a wacky episode of Star Trek. Keep the open mind.
Infinity and Time
Remembering that your Soul (you) is on a journey that stretches into infinity. There is much thought about reincarnation. Your Soul has many lessons to learn on its journey. Not necessarily all on this Earth plane. It may have reincarnated many times to learn different things through our history.
So, let’s think about that. There have been recorded instances where a child has been able to relate events in what appears to be a past life in their community with total accuracy. A little Indian boy able to talk about happenings which occurred years prior to his birth. Names of people who he has never seen before, questions about local things far from his knowledge. Naturally that raises the question of whether the child has lived before and has been ‘reborn’ to live on earth again and landed up, like in a time warp, in a community in which they have lived before. Many people believe that they have had past lives and can have personal traits which point to there being credence to this.
Some people display actions and opinions that are possibly an overhang of previous life experiences. Considering that the Soul is on a journey it makes perfect sense that they have, during this journey, dipped, as it were, in and out of an earth experience. One in which they might have been a different gender and in a totally different social situation during which the Soul learnt specific lessons. There is no rational reason why it is not possible to have had numerous visits during which your Soul has experienced and learned from many previous lives over millennia. Some of such experiences are ‘brought through’ with them.
This takes us to another facet of this parallel world. TIME...
FURTHER POINTS IN TIME
Taking the above text into account, it won’t have surprised you that in the Spirit world time does not exist. When you think about it there is no reason why that should not be the case. It is a difficult concept to accept without doubt, but time as we know it today did not exist as it does today. No one would say ‘I will be away for the next few hours’. No clocks, no watches. Certainly, the passage of what we call time must have existed on Earth but was not needed in the set-up in the Spirit realm.
If a Soul exists to learn during an infinite journey, what does it matter if time does not exist? You could ask then, where is their journey taking them and what is the point? Fair questions.
Their journey is all about learning how to improve their Soul, how to work through countless planes to improve their worth on a spiritual ‘staircase’, improving their spiritual strength and ability. Moving from the low dark planes inhabited by base spirits into more gentle and sophisticated planes, learning new skills, many of these skills crafted to help us mortals on earth. If you like, to help to create what we call ‘heaven’. Each Soul has a job or purpose to improve mortal existence. No one would deny that there is much yet to be done.
In terms of infinity, it might take a few years, decades, or thousands of our years but as the Soul is not going to age then it matters not.
‘I won’t be a minute’
So, think of it like this. If two Souls were conversing (this would be by mental exchange, not voice vibration) and one Soul received a request to attend to the needs of a ‘newcomer’ who had a special need in which one of the conversing Souls had skills, that Soul would stop the mental conversation, and depart. When the situation the Soul attended was complete, they would return to the interrupted conversation without there being a break in terms of time and simply carry on. The simplest way of thinking about time in the Spirit world is to explain that ‘time is’. It is not a minute, month, year, or any amount of our time. It simply does not exist or work that way.
It is all part of the Natural Law which controls and orders spiritual happenings.
All these things have ramifications and effects which control and maintain the order in the incredibly huge and complex world which runs alongside the mortal Earth.
