OVERVIEW
It is safe for any person to read. It does not matter your age, country of origin, skin colour or preferred belief of religion. Spirit simply looks at every mortal as being the same, without differentiation. In the Spirit world where the Soul resides, such mortal considerations of these divisive issues are of no consequence.

To the Spirit world there is just one element of importance, and that is a body in which a Soul resides. The Soul, having entered the mortal body at conception and, in so doing, experiences a lifetime, whatever the time span, to gain experience. Then, at a time when that purpose is served, the Soul will vacate its ‘casing’ – our body – and moves on. That we call Death.
In fact, all along, our mortal body has simply been a staging post for the Soul to use. The Soul is on a journey of its own and has used a mortal as its way of gaining mobility, to experience a time on Earth. If you like, it is similar to us stopping off at a service station or beauty spot on a very long journey. A planned stopping-off point.
This is about the Soul and its journey. The ‘Something’.

BEST ADVICE
So, this is my view, drawn from experience, and enormous help from my Spirit friends above, and from the Circle we run, my Circle partners. It is far from perfect, but honestly thought out. Believe what you will, discard what you think is wrong or you cannot believe.

But I can give you the best advice I’ve ever had in this life, that of my lovely Nan…: “do unto others as you would hope they would do unto you”.
As good a Spiritual thought as you will ever find.
Let’s start the journey through my scribbling…..

I wish you well on your journey to both of you, (your true self) and your Soul.

AN OVERVIEW
Let’s start with the thing we know so well – our body.
Whichever way you look at it, we live in it all our lives. We pop into life with a body, we die within our body.
It is not always perfect but it, in general, sustains life, our life.
It comes in all shapes, sizes and colours and speaks in many tongues.
Your body has a two hemisphere brain, it is incredibly complex, exceptionally delicate, well-protected in a custom-made shell and appears to run the rest of the system.
You have a heart, hopefully fully functioning as intended. This pump will pump around your body five or six quarts of blood every minute, or 2,000 gallons a day.
You also have a nervous system consisting of about ninety thousand nerve endings spread around your body. These are so efficient that if, for example, you were to take a needle and prick your skin in a place which hitherto had never, let’s say, in sixty years, been disturbed in any way, when pricked, after sitting there all that time quite happily, it would spring into action, without hesitation, send a signal, instantly, to your brain telling it where the attack on your body had taken place and the danger it posed.
In the meanwhile, the rest of your body is busy maintaining your life, shedding bits and renewing parts which may have worked faithfully but are now past their sell-by date and need renewing.
The poisons in your body are being excreted regularly and, continually, a war is being waged against the various elements which attack your body.

CONSTRUCTION AND DECAY
This war goes on ceaselessly against the biggest organ of your body, your outer layer, your skin. Repelling invaders, in the meanwhile your skin is busy renewing itself, flake by flake, automatically. The skin you had one year ago is not the skin you have today!
All this is not wholly without its problems, possibly dealing with parts which, when being formed whilst in the womb at a rate of perhaps 300,000 cells a second every day, sometimes something does not fall into place. But, as is mostly the case, most things go right, a fully functioning body emerges: you. Ready to spend perhaps up to 100 years being mortal and alive. All the bits doing more or less what is intended to keep us alive. This is the Mind, Body and Soul working together.
From what is commonly called ‘middle age’ the Soul starts to pull away a little. In due time bits of our body start to break down or change. The muscles are less strong, your eyesight not so keen, the hearing not so acute. Obviously this is the process of ageing – perfectly natural. Your heart, which has been beating for decades, becomes tired. Your body is still assailed by the enemies of life; they gain footholds and force change. Finally, your heart sends out signals to major internal organs and stops beating. This is what we call death.
All through this ceaseless industry within your body, the Soul has not really had a look-in. However, it has been mentioned constantly. I guess that the vast majority of people who hear and mention the Soul don’t really think further about it.

THE ELUSIVE SOUL
Many of the multitude of beliefs, ceremonies, cults, religions and so on allude to this amorphous element. The Soul, Mind, body and Spirit, The Father, Son and Holy Ghost, The Gods, the Deities, Icons, Symbols and thousands of Religions, all allude to or glorify the Soul, and, in some way or another, appear to believe that there is ‘something’. The elusive ‘Something’ is the Soul. It does exist, it always has and always will.
There is no real reason why this should not be the case. It is not of this Earth plane; it is only visiting. It does not run on Earthly rules.
It was here when we were born, waiting to join us on our journey, and when that journey ends, takes with it the lessons and experiences it has accumulated. This is where the expression that a person has ‘passed on’ is particularly apposite. That is exactly what has happened: it arrived and passed on. In Spirit terms our lifespan is very short; however, the journey a Soul travels is infinite.
On the other hand, curiously, you can learn more than you might want about The Devil!
We have therefore used part of one of the exclamations ‘Bless My Soul’ as the heading for this work.

WHY IS IT HERE?
But what of the Soul? It is on a journey. That is possibly the most important thing to remember. The Soul does not just turn up! It has existed forever. Coming to the Earth ‘plane’ and occupying a ‘casing’ (you) is a stop over in its own journey. Your Soul has probably chosen to visit the Mortal plane for a reason. It does apparently have a choice. It may need to learn or experience something which can only be achieved by experiencing the life which, in your case, you lead.
Or it might decide it wishes to carry on with its work in the Spirit realm.

JUST ATOMS
All the above is true, wonderfully true. Living, breathing, being life itself.
But how does it all come about? Sex and conception we know.
But if you were to be able to take apart this wonderful construct, before conception, before evolution, all you might have had is a pile of atoms, and that is it. So what literally enlivened those atoms, which is the mystery? It is then that you can start to toy in your mind with a creator and a Soul. That is the beginning of your journey.

THE SOMETHING
This text has been written in such a way which ignores the huge number of earnest and varying views held by the world regarding life and why we are here and suchlike. In my view, the only thing which is really known and acknowledged, whatever the belief, is that there is ‘Something’. Call it by whatever name you like. I suppose it is in effect the question, ‘what is life about’? This is universal.
That ‘Something’ is believed in and venerated in countless ways.
Regrettably the beliefs have been the catalyst for countless wars and suffering, regardless of the intelligence and capability of those visiting such distress on others. It matters not one jot whether the strife is promulgated by men in loincloths with spears or with night sights and rockets.
It is all so appalling when in fact the whole business is so simple. It is a battle between forces which are good and those which are harmful. It matters not the intention. This is an immensely simple, and fiendishly complex statement and personal belief.
In the middle of it all the poor old Soul has the task of trying to understand and learn from what it sees and experiences. From this maelstrom it wants to turn this into an engine of good and return the beautiful World we have been so bountifully gifted into what it once was: a heaven. Some hope!
So, Bless My Soul, and thank you so much to our Spirit friends for giving every mortal ever born the opportunity of moving mankind in the right direction. That is YOU, it is down to YOU.

OFF WE GO…
I know you will find bits which are repeated, I am sorry about that but putting this together has been a bit like a forensic reconstruction of a crime scene!
Coming to the Earth plane is simply a ‘stopping off point’ in a journey which, for the Soul, is eternal. The main thing you must understand is that your Soul has a body (yours) which it uses, and that you are, in effect, a casing which contains a Soul, not the other way round. Your casing will live just as your Soul determines. That is predetermined in any case.
We fully accept that ‘Eternal’ and ‘Infinity’ are difficult, if not impossible, concepts to accept, so don’t bother to, just accept that this is what it is.

THE SOUL JOURNEY AND EARLY MAN
The Soul itself is on a journey, its own journey. The journey is unceasing, it is literally eternal. The Soul has only visited earth to learn something it needs to see or experience. It does not normally stay. It has possibly done this many times, in many ages, in different genders.
There are thousands of beliefs and religions. But the journey of the Soul is not connected to religion. The Soul is simply working on another plane of vibration to us mortals, very close, but normally not seen.
It is probably true to say that before recorded history Mortals knew more about spirituality than now. They praised the Gods, the spirits above, and deities and so on. They were certainly more aware of the awesome nature of the spirituality in nature in the world than we are today. Its beauty, its seasons and how to treat nature in all its glory. If they did not understand and use such knowledge, then, in all probability, they perished.
Knowing how the world worked with all its seasons and how they worked, its animal and plant life, and the frailty of life were the fundamentals of being close, both to nature and Spirituality.

TIME IMMEMORIAL
Having said that, there really is no telling what really early spiritual awareness was like and how it was celebrated. Certainly, there is more than enough trace even today of lost cities, whole advanced civilisations, monuments, pyramids, stone circles et cetera still here for us to see and know that such history existed. Early man was well-engaged with the spiritual side of the world around them. Knowing how the world worked with all its seasons and how they worked, its animal and plant life, and the frailty of life.
As we know, so much has been lost due to the changes and “pressures” of living our lives as now we do. It is hardly surprising that thinking about what life is about, never mind the possibility of an unseen structure existing which includes a Soul, is pushed aside.
Hopefully this text will help clear some of the fog and misguided thinking which exists and reveal the true nature of what your life is about, and how the Soul is not just part of you, but IS you. That is its sole intention.

FOR GOD’S SAKE
It is difficult for the modern mind to believe and accept the Spirit world’s existence, never mind the journey of the Soul which exists within every mortal.
In churches, sects and suchlike there’s much said about piety, and how we should behave and practise what we are told, but very little is specifically about the Soul. But how often does anyone stop to think what they are saying when they are praising “the Holy Ghost”, “the Trinity” or simply saying “The Lord Above” or is exclaiming “oh my God” in surprise? Never mind to stop to think about who, or where this strange, much-alluded-to elusive creation is?
So much is accepted, used and incorporated into language regarding the possibility of a Soul. Despite that, it is so scantily explored or explained. This is probably due to the fact that you cannot see or touch it! We are told much; prophets, deities, and sects abound, all extolling the merits of Soul, usually dressed up with finery and pomp. But little is humble, simple, logical, straightforward and demands little thought from you. It is far removed from the early ways of much ‘simpler’ man. It is a glorious confusion overall.
One might have hoped that there was a central view on the subject, but no such luck. That really is the reason for this short and general text to be written.
For those reasons, this text has nothing to do with any of the hundreds of ‘religions’. It simply deals with us, your body and the Soul which inhabits your body.
However, you may well ask, is there a house of God? Then the answer is YES. The house of God is in the mind of man. IT IS ALL AROUND YOU; IT IS YOU.
YOU ARE THE PRODUCT OF GOD.
Spirituality is not a religion, it is what we call LIFE. This is the secret of understanding our life on Earth and what follows on, when our Soul leaves behind its casing and moves on. We simply move on, everything within us is the Soul. It is just the used casing which perishes. The Soul cannot perish. Simple, logical and humble.

NO SINGLE GOD
So, stand by! Basically, there is no single God. You, I, and everyone else on the planet is part of the whole. Every one of us, just like in a community, is one part of that community. The Soul comes in, learns and passes on its journey. The community is better, worse or unchanged by the mortal life you and I follow. The intent, of course, is that we should leave this world, this Earth plane, better for the short time we are here.
It is believed that a very long time ago the Earth was the heaven we talk about.

WHAT WENT WRONG?
Aeons ago, it went catastrophically wrong, dark forces turned a perfect world into what we have seen in our recorded history and experience today. The Spirit world of today is still trying to pull back the situation. Although you might not believe it, and looking round I would not blame you, it is said by Spirit that gradually Spirit is winning.

EVOLUTION AND REINCARNATION
My personal view is that the tale that we all crawled out of the slime and became, with billions of the other species which currently inhabit life, is far-fetched. I stand firmly in the creation camp. Now, knowing what we do about the structure of our afterlife, I think it adds enormously to that belief.
Evolution is a good story, that is for sure, and I cannot prove or disprove it. But I do know that if you think totally logically and rationally, it took more than evolution to create animals as different as a rhinoceros and a flea.
Evolution is a nice story but does not really cut it. Absolutely everything you see around you is Spirit working in nature. Nothing is solid, from the animal kingdom, insect life, grass, trees, the earth itself right down to the floating masses we call tectonic plates. The winds, tides, atmosphere, all are a fantastic construct, one so casually used and abused by mortal man. It is the greatest story that can be told. One which we will only accept when we move back to our Spirit home to continue our own journey. Until then we can only marvel at our planet and the vast cosmos we know so little about.
So, we come to the somewhat vexed and mystifying subject of Reincarnation. We now know that your Soul is a visitor which is accompanying you, indeed it is the integral part of you which keeps you going! The Soul pops in and out from its own journey to learn. This can be over millennia. So the Soul (you) is not mysteriously ‘reincarnating’, it is simply dropping by to pick up bits of knowledge it requires for its own advancement. When looked at it that way, it is perfectly logical for this to be viewed as an extraordinary event to us, with our short lives measured against the infinite journey of the Soul. Not exactly hopping on a bus, but space and time travel combined.

AN EXPLANATION FOR YOU
So read on. I can only relate what I and others have been clearly told by Spirit directly. Perhaps the winning of the battle of good over evil is now moving much faster due to the ability of Spirit voice being able to be recorded for the first time in history. I do hope so.
There is so much good in so many people and just like a bucket of clear water can be transformed by one insignificant coloured drop falling in it, although of minute proportion in relation to the bulk of water, it will transform disproportionately the colour of the water. Just as a tiny evil group can transform a perfectly happy large group of others.
In other words, there is much better good on earth than evil. The good whisper, the evil shout. I think that is true.

THE JOINING OF THE SOUL (you) and the casing (you)
One of our little psychic group puzzled over this. She is very psychic and comes from a lineage of very strong mediums, those who have the gift and can speak with and for Spirit. It was very interesting that the result of her thinking produced the following view...
“The way I see it, the Soul is a whole before it joins our body, not human-like at all, it enters our body to learn and becomes the person our body grows up to be, depending on our surroundings. Such as, are we wealthy, poor, ill, happy. The Soul chooses the environment from which it needs to gain knowledge or experience.”
When we (our body) dies, it goes back to its original form but with the added knowledge of what it has learnt and experienced. This would be in what is a short period of time as far as Spirit is concerned, like attending school!!

As far as I can see, there is nothing at all wrong with this observation. It is the simple melding of Soul and its host, our body as its casing. Simple, uncomplicated, logical. In fact, it might well have been put through to this highly psychic young lady to provide a perfectly rational answer. The logic is perfect, the rationale is sound and frankly it far outperforms many other ‘answers’ to the conundrum; think, chicken and egg, for example. Provide a logical answer for that one!
I leave it with you to stretch your thinking and ponder over.

A Journey to infinity
What follows below is a collection of thoughts about death and the role of our Soul.
We have a Soul, like it or not. I am simply trying to get people to realise that in tandem with their mortal life they are accompanied by a Soul.
Probably unknown, or unacknowledged by them, the Soul is simply using the mortal (you) as a useful shell or casing. The Soul has diverted from its own Soul journey to visit this Earth ‘plane’ to experience some part of mortal life from which it needs to learn or experience. The journey you are experiencing right now.
In fact, as the Soul continues on its own journey (a journey of infinite length), it may well have ‘dropped in’ many times to learn different lessons on this Earth plane over millennia. Each time, once it has the knowledge or experience it requires, it leaves. Our casing collapses. We call that collapse ‘Death’.
In the meanwhile, the Soul goes back to its true home, the Spirit world.
This gives rise to the belief in reincarnation. Perfectly rational.

SO FAR, SO GOOD
So far, so good. From here on it gets more complicated. However, I have avoided going down the many side-turnings on this subject. All I want is for the reader to realise that they do have a Soul and the reason for that Soul being with you.
I would like to point out a truism.
There are countless versions of attitudes to the subject of Spirituality. Most drift off in to ‘religion’ or the esoteric. I don’t. But I do have respect for any well-founded view on a complex and difficult subject.
I strongly believe that the best account of spirituality is that recorded from a Spirit contact. That is one where the contact is recorded verbatim, as it were, from a direct contact by a strong psychic. There are simply too many varying interpretations given by well-meaning psychics for my belief to be any other way. I do of course respect their views.
So, I want to confess that a degree of what is written here is, inevitably, where I have had to try to interpret others’ work. I have also drawn from contact with a number of people who have various psychic abilities. Those with the ability to receive messages mentally, visually, healers, folk with a long history of family involvement with Spirit and, of course, a large amount of reading. This is not the product of a large research study, simply a collection of things pulled together based on experience and involvement in Spiritual matters.
I am a natural contact healer, but with low-level spiritual involvement. As one very famous Soul, coming through our Spirit Circle board, said to me, “you cannot see us, you cannot hear us and yet you believe, how wonderful!’. I have to agree. I have recently given up the healing, I am now too old and wanted to put this text together as a mark that I have been here.
In other words, to get this down before I, my Soul, goes home.

MORTAL STRIFE

I firmly believe that the whole business is so simple. It is a battle between forces which are good and those which are harmful; an immensely simple and complex statement and personal belief.
In the middle of it all the poor old Soul has the task of trying to make this maelstrom an engine of good and return this beautiful planet we have been so bountifully gifted, into what was once, a heaven. Some task !
So thank you so much, my Spirit friends, for giving every person ever born the opportunity of helping move mankind in the right direction. So, READER, it is down to YOU.

Reboot your thinking
To start you on your voyage of discovery you might well need to unhitch your mind and reboot your thinking. The Spirit World you will arrive in eventually is not the world you know and does not run the same way. You have now arrived somewhere that works, and is controlled in a totally different way.
It is precise, entirely relative to you. You probably have been here before but need to relearn the system. The old you (the mortal body) is gone. You feel comfortable and are happy to be free from old mortal worries, pain and stress. You will have a chance to review your old mortal life and have the opportunity to learn from what you see. You will be put in the company of others who have exactly the attitude to life and others that you had in life. That might be good or bad news depending on the way you spent your mortal life.
It is a case that your Soul has a body (yours) which it uses, and that you are, in effect, a casing which contains a Soul. When you go ‘home’ everything is done to calm you and settle you in. You might well have been met by relatives and friends from your mortal life. If you had a traumatic end of life, you will be healed in a Spirit hospital. We are now talking of course about you as a Soul. Remember that the mortal body and the visiting Soul were melded in the beginning of your mortal life. The mortal part has ceased to exist, your Soul remains, it cannot die. If, due to some circumstance during its time with you on Earth, your Soul has been damaged, or possibly attracted low disruptive attachments, these will be dealt with and you will be a clear Soul.
There will be something which you will be required to engage in, probably a skill which you inherently have or enjoy, looking after children Souls who have been mistreated and need support, or taking care of animals. (Six of our lovely little dogs are cared for by our great friend Sylvia, who passed over a few years ago). If you have a particular aptitude or skill which you have enjoyed in mortal life, it might well be put to good use in the Spirit world. I am not saying that you will go around playing the harp!
Your journey as I have repeatedly said is never ending, the purpose being to learn to always try to improve your Soul experience and by raising your vibrational level attain higher levels in the Spirit realm. This will always remain your goal.
If that has not at least unhitched your mind and thinking, it should at least get you thinking along the right path. There are constraints and what is called Natural Law. This is required to stop the Spirit construct from becoming corrupted. Help, whenever you say you need it, will be willingly given. Your understanding of mortal things will be broader, both of the Spirit world and your new situation. You will, once you understand more, be able to contact those you left behind. You will view mortal life differently. That is something not covered by this text, but quite simply it is the question of getting two different levels of vibration into a synchronised situation.

Coming to the Earth Plane is simply a ‘stopping off point’ in a journey for the Soul, a journey which is eternal. We fully accept that ‘Eternal’ and ‘Infinity’ are difficult, if not impossible, concepts to accept, so don’t bother to, just accept that this is what it is.
