THE SOUL’S CHOICE – PARALLEL PATHS
Your Soul has chosen (it does have a choice) to enter the casing (your body) of its own volition PRIOR to conception. It does this in the full knowledge of what that casing might meet in its life to come. It knows the span of life it will have, short or long, the trials, tribulations and, broadly speaking, the good and bad bits it might see. The whole point of this is for the Soul to know, in advance, the kind of life, with all its facets of joy, despair, disaster and the many riches of life, and learn from them. It may very well have a particular lesson to learn; for example, in past lives it might have been linked to a very nasty person, not really caring about the misery that its casing was causing to others. On this ‘trip’ it needs to experience the fear and disruption it caused in an earlier time. In this way, its trip to the Earth plane would teach it a lesson it needs to know to assist it on its Soul journey. Enriched and matured by its exposure to the life, it will experience this time (not forgetting it may have had many lives over centuries) and it will move on with its journey. When the time allocated to the casing runs out, the casing gives up, and the Soul, improved and with a broader understanding of some aspect in which it might have lacked knowledge, travels on. Knowledge to be used on its own future travels.
So the Soul will dispassionately observe and have been exposed to the actions, thoughts, emotions, morality and decisions of the casing which carries it.

LEARNING FOR THE SOUL
The whole point is that the Soul needs to experience certain aspects ITSELF so that it can journey on with new knowledge. These experiences might be any one of the life experiences of the billions of mortals on the planet. It may be joy, wealth, privilege, tragedy or extreme deprivation. Maybe it might be robust good health or one of the crippling afflictions we can see around us in our mortal lives. In that journey there will be lessons to be learnt and reasons for that life to be experienced. There is always a reason. The reason will often not appear to be fair to us but nevertheless nothing happens by chance. Even tragedy, as seen by us, has other meanings and purpose to Spirit. For example, one saying is that you cannot know darkness if you never see light. I always think of it as being oriental in nature. Not thinking in terms of a year or two but of a thousand.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
This, so far, is the really broad picture. There is of course much more which could be said regarding this phase, its intent and reasons why a Soul might choose a particular role. However, it is not the intent to make this text long and complicated, but simply to relate to you the basic information we have pulled together and let you decide for yourself. This is just about the Soul.

THE SOUL HAS A CHOICE
Just to say, the Soul does not always choose to come to the Earth plane, it may not need or want to, it may have other things to do, learn and so on. In the Spirit World, we don’t know. However, on this occasion it wishes to learn from what you do. So, it may continue its Soul journey, happy to learn in its home environment. It has a choice.
It ‘lives’ in another type of world on its own plane. That plane or dimension is not very far from our own (just a few vibrations away) and there is no logical reason why this cannot be true, apart, that is, due to the blinkered and often bigoted thinking prevalent on the Earth plane. There is, after all, plenty of evidence of there being many other dimensions. With respect to vibrations, everything on earth has its own vibration. That is true for the Spirit world, which appears to work very much on vibrational fields. These are the ‘planes’ which are mentioned.
That is the outline of the first phase. The Soul chooses to come to this plane, it knows the lessons or experiences it needs to learn or experience while here.
At the very point of conception, the Soul enters the chosen casing. The melding of the new mortal and the visitor from the Spirit plane commences.

WHAT IS IT DOING WITH YOU?
You might well ask ‘OK, so what is it doing with me?’ The simple answer is... learning. It is NOT controlling or organising you.
The Soul does have a spiritual role on its own plane, looking after newly arrived persons who have passed over perhaps, and there are huge numbers of these (an average of 160,000 a day). They might need help, be confused, in need of restoration in a Spirit hospital, take care of animals and many other duties which keep the whole Spirit world working. I mentioned there are hospitals for some newly arrived casings. The reason is that, prior to passing, some casings have a very difficult time with some disease or affliction. This may have impacted the Soul and require some correcting and in particular the ‘shaking off’ of ingrained harmful elements which have attached themselves too and could be disruptive.
There may be some undesirable psychic influence which needs correcting. That calls for special treatment in what is a Spirit hospital.
We find that on a psychic Circle meeting some people who have passed over come on the Circle board quite quickly (this is usually when they are helped by Spirit guides). They might come through once more on the next Circle. However, then there is quite a gap and often it is because of some trauma which has affected them prior to passing; they need healing. So off they go to hospital or a Hall of Learning. Subsequently they often pop up quite regularly on the Circle Board.

FREE WILL
Mortals have been given the facility of free will. In other words, it is up to you how you conduct your life. Literally, every shade of person will be arriving in the Spirit World, they all need to be welcomed and dealt with in some way or another. It is the intent of Spirit that you will strive to be good, kind and, in effect, be a good influence to mankind while you work your way through your life. It’s a tough sell! But that is the intent. How you conduct your life is entirely up to you. Your conduct, whether you do good things or bad things is up to us, YOU. Be sure: it will of course have an impact on your life after Death. Free will is the key to your future, use it wisely.

IT IS UP TO YOU
It is up to us, YOU, to establish the norms by which you live. To use your brain, and in particular, your conscience and morality, to guide you.
Almost entirely the Soul is a passive observer, learning, not commanding or driving you.
HOWEVER, if you are to some degree knowledgeable of the workings of the Spirit world, the only thing which will happen is that you may get ideas, or suggestions ‘dropped’ into your thinking. Unless of course you are a natural-born psychic having been given the gift of being able to connect with the Spirit world. However, there is much which might well be going on ‘behind the scenes’ by Spirit which might help you or save you from a mortal mistake as you tread the life path. If you think hard, you might well come up with times in your life when this has happened. The ‘Thank God for that’ moments.

Preparing your mind
PREPARING YOUR MIND was the only way to head this section. The reason for this is that a lot of the content of this text is mind-blowing. It is difficult to put the information about spiritual things in a way which does not automatically bring up sceptical thoughts. There is so much that you have to simply accept as being the truth or, in a few cases, a best guess. So I have picked out a few things which are simply incredible here on Earth that may not be common knowledge but are facts. These are a few things which actually exist or are happening right now on Earth. Hopefully, this illustrates how little we actually do know about what goes on around us, never mind what is common in another world, the one to which we will all return.

NORMAL THINGS ON EARTH
So, as you read this, millions of particles called neutrinos are striking the Earth every second. They don’t stop, they pass right through! How do they do this? Everything on Earth consists of atoms. Inside atoms are neutrons. To simplify things a bit, if you imagine that both atoms and neutrons are like round marbles in a jar, you would see that because they are round, there are gaps where the marbles don’t touch. Neutrinos simply whizz through the gaps and go on through these gaps. As you probably know, everything on Earth consists of atoms, so nothing is actually solid. However, don’t bang your head against the wall to disprove it, it is more complicated than that!
Recently scientists have discovered a huge hole in the Universe. They say that it cannot exist, but they have discovered it! Also, of course, they have found that about 98% of the universe consist of ‘Dark Matter’. They don’t know what it is or what it means. Magnetic forces are still not fully understood, nor the power of gravity. It seems that there are apparently up to eleven dimensions and that they have also discovered through Quantum Physics that one particle can appear in two places at once.
On top of that, everything has a rate of vibration, everything on earth, they all differ. In the Spirit world vibrations and the rate of vibration is of key importance. You are judged by your vibration, your Spirit life and the plane upon which you will recommence your eternal Spirit journey is one of many vibration ‘layers’.
You get the idea. There is a huge amount which we don’t know. Anyone for UFOs? A lot of it is mind-blowing. Similarly, the things associated with the Spirit World are equally mind-blowing. It is, after all, an entirely different world.

DIRECT INFORMATION
There is a great deal of information direct from The Spirit World, recorded word for word. This information is freely available. It is this information which, however mind-blowing, we are trying to present to you in this text.
So, do just open your mind, cluttered as it may be by all that is ‘modern’.

The Spirit World exists. It runs alongside the dimension inhabited by us mortals and is so close that we can, and do, communicate with it. So please read on...
In the next section the vexed question about spirituality and religion is explored. Basically, as suggested in the opening section we are in effect melded to Spirit and our Soul. It is complex because we have believed much that we have been told, or even force-fed by varying clerics and beliefs. But by sticking closely to the straight subject of the Soul and having not gone down the complex web of paths, involving hundreds of beliefs and religions, many involving fervour and a multitude of different faiths, it helps turn this difficult subject into something which is reasonably simple and logical.
Things should start to be clearer.

To help you
This site, and text, to say the least, is difficult to plan and write. The reason is simple.
I am asking the reader to think about something which, conceivably, they have not really thought about in any depth so far in their life.
Death is inevitable and unavoidable, that is a fact. What follows is rarely explained in any detail. However well-meaning, very few religions go past the inevitability of death and the reason, or even the fact, that the Soul has a role to play in their teachings. To say that the Soul is not just an amorphous happening but is the main player in our mortal existence would obviously fracture or destroy most of the teachings preached to billions of the inhabitants of this planet for thousands of years.
Until ‘modern times’, and with the advent of technology, the only way of getting, or assessing information about the Spirit World was through mediums, and the relatively few mortals who could have contact with Spirit.
Possibly those mortals who could, and did, have contact with Spirit had a rocky path. Depending upon the beliefs of the society in which they lived, these folk were possibly venerated, or, more likely thought to be weird, dangerous and good for burning on the stake! Only in the past 100 years have attitudes really changed.

ALL CHANGE
This all changed with modern recording equipment. Direct contact through experienced mediums was now available to be recorded. This now forms a fund of knowledge now available for anyone to read or listen to. Those dedicated to bringing this information out can now ask direct questions of Spirit guides through their Circle or group members and record the answers. There are now quite a number of fascinating publications which publish in great detail what the Spirit plane is like and the journey a Soul undertakes. Check them out.
I have tried to stick to the central path of the Soul’s journey and avoid going down the side paths and issues which consequently arise. That is very difficult and I advise you to seek out such information to enrich your knowledge of what you can expect when you ‘pass over’.
You will find out in due time it is 100% guaranteed.

PARALLEL PATHS
So often the Soul is mentioned in relation to religion. This is despite the Soul in many of the hundreds of religions not having a clear role. It is just like being a ‘bit player’ in a play – there, but not playing a major part. Wrong!
Spiritual matters concerning the Soul are very often avoided as being dodgy and spooky. And yet religion is the focus of so much written work and spiritual matters also have much said about them. But curiously, the Soul and matters spiritual are rarely intertwined in text, never mind shown to be inextricably linked. But they are there but on different paths.
Yet this is what this site is about. The problem is that the Soul is not actually about religion. You should not try to balance that which really will not balance. It is not about religion at all. It is the true YOU, on a day trip to spend time with you and learn from what you say and do, and how you conduct your life. The Soul is learning all the while, being made aware of the way the mortal world works around YOU and shapes your life and what you do with the time you are given.

ONE AND THE SAME
The Soul and spirituality, that is the Spirit world, are one and the same. The Soul, our Soul, is on a journey. It is using a mortal ‘casing’ as a carrier in which to spend the time it has on our Earth before, inevitably, returning from whence it journeyed to be with us, back to the Spirit world, its home.
As you will learn, the Soul can choose whether to return to what we call the Earth plane, leaving the Spirit plane behind temporarily and enter this, our world. It joins at the point of conception and will remain with its mortal host until the task or lesson that the Soul has to experience is complete, at which stage the link between the two is broken, the timing of the breaking of the cord is preordained and the Soul goes back to its rightful home to carry on its journey. The break of the silver cord connecting us is the job of the Soul to determine, it is not the business of the mortal to decide. It is as simple and as complex as that.

RATIONALISING
So, to go back to the opening paragraph where the difficulty of planning and writing is mentioned. In your journey of reading this text, and at this important point of helping you to rationalise what you are reading, some deeper thinking and doses of logic are required. It is a turning-point for your established views of “life” and to become adaptable and change. Just explore in your mind the reason why it is so difficult and yet quite simple.
Just turn the thinking around. Imagine that you have met a being from another planet who wants to know about Earth. What is it about, why is it there what is everyone supposed to be doing? How do things happen, and why? Life, death, men, women, animals, sea, land, plants, air, all these things are so easy to generalise and to a great extent, simplify. But, how incredibly complex in actuality. A million questions would not come near to providing enough explanation. It is the same with the Spirit World.

SIMPLICITY AND COMPLEXITY
Simple and complex. So, it is with the Soul, its journey, and the role of the Soul. So simple and yet, as it involves the involvement of infinity and a hugely complex structure behind the workings of the Spirit world, infinitely complex.
So, you will, I hope, understand that this work has limited itself to putting over, in the broadest outline, just a sketch of what the Soul is about.
The only real aim is to get you to think, in whatever depth you wish, about you and your ever-present Soul, also your own contribution to the good of your fellow man and the planet.
Every man is, with their melded Soul, a part of God. You are a singular part of the whole organisation. It is rather like being a member of a gang, YOU are a member of this gang, there is no way out. Everyone else is in the same situation.
