In this next section it looks as though we have taken a step away from the Soul. As this is impossible, I think we need to look at the incredible casing that our Soul has chosen as its lifetime chauffeur.
Consider it rather like looking at a Rolls Royce car. Then look more carefully at the car’s construction. Hidden underneath the glorious outer is a truly magnificent piece of mechanical craftsmanship. The epitome of construction.
Then look at your body. The largest organ of the body, the skin, hides a wonderful construct, one which is at war every minute of the day with pathogens which could harm or cripple it. It has its own army, repelling, finding and destroying invading cells. All organised, automatic in response. When you get a spot suddenly turning up, you will know that it is the skin’s defence forces at work. And we are unaware normally of all this going on. Your body is perfectly able to deal with the vast majority of invaders.
At times it is malformed in some way, it is true. It does suffer a successful invasion on occasion and along with everything else on Earth suffers gradual diminishment and decay.
You should marvel constantly at this and begin to wonder at the reason for what we call life. It is staring you in the face. The wondrous construct you inhabit has a purpose. It is a vehicle for your Soul.
Your casing
You should consider and think about your casing and why it is there.
This is the casing you probably take totally for granted every day. You are in charge of, in all probability, the most complex thing on Earth.
Yes, birds, fish, insects, lichen, moss et cetera, all are complex in their own right. But none can think, act and create as we do. Nothing was created by accident, from torrent ducks to giraffes, from whales to fleas.
YOUR MORTAL MACHINE
Think about these points...
– Your heart is beating about 70 times a minute and doing this for possibly over 100 years.
– Your digestive system is processing solid food, liquid, and disposing of it in a regular pattern. The food, incidentally, passes through a system which contains an acid which is akin to battery acid, but it works in such a way that it does not eat the owner’s stomach it passes through. Just as well!
– Your body consists of a variety of different tissues achieving a multiplicity of tasks, giving you the ability to walk, balance, have incredible vision, speak, think, memorise and construct and reproduce.
– It has a system to channel blood to every part of your casing, and blood itself is exceptionally complex. There is a lymph system for moving fluid in the body to parts of the system which require it.
– About 9000 nerve endings protect you every second you live. Any one of them might not do anything for many years until it is pricked or hurt in some way. Or do nothing whatever for your entire life. Nevertheless, instantly the outraged nerve will spring into life. All contained in your casing.
Agreed, it goes wrong during your time in it, it is sometimes not put together quite as it should be. However, although the casing is under attack 24 hours a day for your entire life from a host of enemies, it is worth having a thought about it in terms of spirituality.
Your casing exists to carry your Soul, which is why it is so well fortified.
Your casing can be damaged, which results in death, but your Soul is indestructible.
CONNECT WITH IT
So as you sit by your fireside, fly over an ocean, do your familiar plod through your work, wait for your children to come home, whatever – take time to think about what you are in command of, how it has been constructed and what you should do with this stupendously wonderful construct. How can you do good with it.
Consider how it is connected to Spirit. A silver, unseen thread that keeps the other part of you, your Soul, together. And then lives on as your casing until it is turned in to a pile of lifeless atoms.
YOUR PERSONAL VIBRATION
All people have an energy field, a bit like an invisible belt around them. So does every other thing on Earth. This is the vibrational level which is personal to you. It is the bit which lets you know that the house you might have just visited does not feel right, or that one area makes you feel uncomfortable in a building. It is also perhaps the feeling some people get when meeting them for the first time and not feeling ‘right’ about them.
Spirit is everywhere. It is a vibrational field of a different nature. The Spirit field is one through which the various Souls work. The energy field of planet Earth from the view of the Spirit world is not light and airy, it is dark and claggy, like a fog. It makes it difficult for contact when mediums try to establish a link. They have to fight their way through this fog to clear a path. (This can be cleared effectively by striking a Singing Bowl which vibrates and clears the line of communication.) Not having a clear path and therefore a strong connection is a problem which can frustrate both the mortal and Spirit communication. This is the case if the mortal side is not experienced or may be a weak operator.
The various ‘planes’ in the Spirit world serve an important service. Rather like many layers of differently coloured smoke, they form the levels to which your Soul will return. These are stratified according to the goodness, or otherwise, of your mortal contribution whilst on the Earth plane. The brighter the plane, the better for the atmosphere and the inhabitants. Souls hope to move up the scale of the many planes as they learn and improve. This is the purpose of delineating the planes. Every Soul is trying to improve the conditions they are in and graduate to ever more pleasant conditions. They also mature with learning, becoming stronger and with greater luminescence as they gradually ascend in level.
This is probably hopelessly simplified and, if so, I apologise. However, it is known for certain that the structure is well-ordered and strict rules apply to movement up and down the levels of plane. The light level of each plane is specific to each plane and the Souls within that plane resonate with a given strength of light.
This is really only the broadest of outlines for you. But I think it can give you some idea of structure. It will also raise many questions in your mind. Hopefully the text below might clarify this important subject.
Your energy field
Throughout your mortal life you are contributing to the energy field in which you exist. You have unconsciously constructed it and it is personal to you. This is, in effect, your vibrational level, that field which is personal to you, and it also influences and attracts others who are of the same vibration. This attraction draws others to you whether for good (if you are) or evil, if not good.
A caution: you will eventually be ‘graded’ and placed on a spiritual plane in which every other Soul there reflects the sort of person you have been in life. Good news for some but bad news for others! In other words, there are many just like you as companions.
This level of plane is achieved by yourself reviewing your past personal mortal life. This will be your ‘History Review’, something you decide to undertake and is a big learning situation which will help you see yourself as you were. It is NOT a trial! It is that which determines the level of plane you will have as your Spiritual home.
By acknowledging your faults and learning from your failings, each Soul has the opportunity to improve their vibrational level and move up the ladder on their Soul journey. This is important as this is the whole purpose of the journey, to improve.
YOUR PERSONAL FIELD OF ENERGY
This energy field goes with you throughout your entire mortal life. You are building and colouring your own personal energy field throughout your life time. When you pass, it becomes a fundamental part in determining the plane upon which your Soul will continue on its Soul journey, high and bright or low and dark.
Along with everything else on earth your casing has a field of energy surrounding it. Remember everything is vibrating at some rate and this is reflected in the structure of the energy field.
LOOK FOR IT
Take some examples: walking in the woods, being by the sea, being alone with yourself on a moor, visiting a church and sitting quietly and meditating. It is the quiet times when you are in a position to dismiss the hurly-burly of life around you that you will boost your energy field and consequently be closer to Spirit. You are letting Spirit in. You are being kind to both your mortal body AND your Soul.
If you go to a really good psychic, that is one that is in good contact with the Spirit world, you might be surprised when you are told “I can see from your energy field that it is very low”. It might be a low period in your life. Spirit looks upon such times as being an opportunity to strengthen your character. The psychic will probably be able to see this from the aura which surrounds everybody and be able to help you.
It may be that you have been, or are, unwell or stressed and they can see or feel the state of your spiritual health. That is your energy field.
Look for it around you. Everything and everybody has an energy field
You can see this in action with dogs which are very sensitive in a way we are not.
For example, how can it be that whilst walking your dog, you pass a house in which there is another dog. It might be quite impossible for either dog to see or hear one another. However, without so much as seeing one another, one will sense the other and start barking, and, no, I don’t think smell comes into it, it does not matter which way the wind is blowing! I think their energy field must be about 60 feet in diameter. That is my experience with our seven dogs.
Often people house-hunting get the “impression” or “feeling” about the house they enter. They know instinctively when they are entering a house for the first time that the house feels right or might have an atmosphere they pick up. It is another example of an energy field being picked up. The ladies do seem to be most sensitive to this. Dowsing, the finding of underground water sources, is another example. Water has its own vibratory level which is what people using dowsing pick up, often with great accuracy as to strength and flow. Other mortals might feel nothing at all. It is all part of a great unseen world around us.
I think it is safe to say that everything carries his own sense of “feeling”. And we can be sure that mortals certainly do.
