YOUR PLACE ON THE OTHER SIDE
So that is the energy field. It is built and constructed by you throughout your life. Jacob Marley in ‘A Christmas Carol’ was right on the nail there (think clanging chains and misery)! As everything with Spirit there is a reason and purpose to be the way it is. It is all part of what is called the NATURAL LAW.
The Natural Law exists so that this immensely complex structure, as intricate at least as much as our life and planet, can be run as it should be. This is so that every Soul in the Spirit world knows its place and does not transgress the rules by which order is maintained. Don’t forget that aeons ago this planet was Heaven. It was the breakdown of the Law and Order at the time (known as ‘The Fall’) which allowed mankind to let evil in and degenerate what was perfection.
For that reason the Natural Law is particularly strong and is simply not allowed to be crossed or broken. There is nothing wishy-washy about keeping control!
One of the purposes is to enable those Spirit Souls ‘in charge’ of sorting out the newcomers arriving from their earthly experience to be assessed, and then placed in the appropriate level of one of the millions of levels of planes.
So, as you waft along in life, in effect, you are creating your next life, in Spirit. You are creating day by day, month by month and year by year your future. This is your future in the Spirit world. You might be fortunate in this life but misuse what has been provided for you and find yourself in dark impoverished crowded conditions, with mean-minded companions instead of the little cottage with lovely garden flowers, the world which you have always dreamed Heaven would be like!
Do you remember the words “and the meek will inherit the earth”? For ‘meek’ I read humble and good. There is no ambiguity, it is as simple as that.
So, it stands to reason as ever, that if you lead a base and lonely sort of indulgent life then your vibrational field will be poor-quality, low vibrations. You will therefore find yourself in the “lower orders”. These planes exist on many levels. From the deepest black all the way to the brightest light which would blind you if you were able to look at it. Imagine a plane in which the mass murderer, despot, and ethnic cleaners of the mortal world end up. I have mentioned the complexity of the structure you will go to; the structure has to cope with the millions if not billions of levels to cope with this. It has to be strictly according to what you have earned in your lifetime but is scrupulously fair. That is the Natural Law at work.
So, if you want your next step on this eternal journey to be one of light, good companionship, wonderfully coloured then you know what to do.

GRADING AND ASSESSING
You already know that throughout your life you have, in effect, been booking your seat in whatever astral plane in which you will be placed. You are doing this with everything you do on Earth whilst you go merrily on your way in your lifetime. Do not forget that everything you have done, how you have behaved, is both known, and taken into account.

Logic dictates that you would have a good idea whether you have, in effect, scored well or not because you would be in the company of spirits which reflects your own kind. This is you, not your Soul, in the driving seat. You have standards to guide you and a conscience which might tell you to alter your ways.
There is no illusion here! Good actions, good clean living which enhances the lives of others, strengths, generous action or a nasty, self-serving nature will all be judged. Now there’s a thought to conjure with!
This is your opportunity to be able to review your life and judge yourself. Did you leave the world a better place or not? Logical and simple.

YOUR PLANE AND GRADING
The plane you will find yourself upon is one of a huge number, all are graded. There you will be graded according to the treatment of others. It may be a plane where the Souls on that plane have not been good at all. Perhaps those having been the cause, or instigation, of mass harm. Using their mortal life to bring misery of some sort to huge swathes of humanity. Perhaps to have carried on throughout their lives, bullying, thieving and damaging the lives of others. Each Soul will need to look at this personal life history review and, perhaps for the first time, be honest with themselves and accept their misspent mortal time. To look at the damage they may have caused before getting the opportunity to move on to the higher vibrations and better astral planes. To move up the ‘ladder’ they (you) will need to acknowledge what your faults were and that you regret them and have learned that lesson.
The planes will become lighter in aspect as they ‘move up’ to the bands containing those who have followed “normal lives”, neither particularly bad or good. They will of course have bumps and potholes of good and bad in their lives. They will be graded according to the gravity or persistence of the bad times, and of course the caring and beneficial ways which they might have had. All of their mortal behaviour is taken into account. Overall balance is essential. This requires many, many planes to exist, each step up being lighter and more pleasant than before. Most Souls of course still have lessons to learn and this will be revealed to them in the review. This is a totally personal assessment, accurate and totally in keeping with the reality of the time spent on the Earth plane.

JOURNEYING ON
The Soul actually needs to carry on with its own journey, but until it has a clear understanding and an acceptance of its faults and realisation of how it might have adversely affected the lives of others, it will not move on. It will stay on that plane forever if need be, to learn from its faults before it can move up to the higher and more pleasant planes and continue further to higher and higher planes.
Your Soul will be helped at any time to move on, it only has to ask for the help to be provided.

THE REALITY
Due to the differing nature of mortals this can lead to a situation whereby a couple are split up.
You could, for example, have a life with a married couple where one partner is bullying and possibly violent to the other partner. The blameless partner would inherit a place on a much lighter and much more pleasant astral plane, whilst the other partner is on a different, darker and lower plane. They will be in a much darker situation and be far from happy with the position. Like with like, Natural Law at work.
The partner on the higher plane can go ‘down’ to meet their partner on the lower plane if that is their wish, but the partner on the lower plane who has transgressed the norms of good conduct cannot go up. This is quite logical; it is the Natural Order working as it should.
The person who is good on earth will be rewarded in the astral planes. Those that are bad individuals in life will be held to account. As the well-known saying goes, ‘vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord’. This answers the question so often mentioned on Earth, ‘Why does Spirit allow this?’ when something happens due to a person, or group, behaving outside the norms of decency and causing harm. Although we don’t know it, it is all balanced up. But it does not happen in this life. However, it is not possible for the other, perhaps bullying, partner to rise to the higher plane to meet the other partner. That will not happen until the lessons it has to acknowledge have been learnt and accepted. THEN the lower spirit can start to move up. Such is the Natural Law which controls everything.

MOVING UP
In earthly terms, moving up might take one year or hundreds of our years to happen. Eventually, the Soul in the dark situation will get fed up with being with those other Souls who are also unreconstructed and refuse to accept their faults in life. The attitudes and behaviour of fellow Souls might begin to disgust them. The enlightened Soul then looks for and seeks help. So, having accepted that it did wrong in life, its lessons or lesson will have been learned. When that happens, Spirit help is readily given to enable the enlightened Soul to move on up and through into higher planes. The couple can meet again.
In this way, no one escapes misdemeanours committed on earth. The bad suffer, the good will be rewarded. Natural Law at work again.
One further point, eminence, position and command means nothing when a person passes. King, commoner, celebrity, cleric, it matters not. Everyone is graded according to their life’s work and whether it has left the world a better place for having been born. No one is exempt. That is the rule. Naturally enough!

SO WHERE IS THIS ALL LEADING?
That is a perfectly good question.
The Soul, you, are on a journey which is infinite. So, the answer is that forever, both on the mortal and the Spirit plane, Souls are journeying, in effect to create a heaven. A place which did exist a very long time ago, one which was perfect, but which became corrupted and ended up prey to dark forces which upset the balance. That is what the Spirit is fighting for.
This may sound far-fetched, however never run away with the idea that “dark forces” do not exist. They do. You only have to look at mortal history to see that.
On a much more personal note, to be aware that if you innocently stray into the Spirit world, perhaps ‘messing about’ with a glass and bits of alphabet on a makeshift Ouija board, be aware that without the knowledge of how to protect yourself, you can attract nasty lowlife spirits into your home and life. Only by protecting yourself, usually with a proficient medium or a person versed in spiritual matters can you safely ‘run’ a psychic Circle. You have now been warned.

MISCHIEF AND PROTECTION
In the dark astral planes there are Souls looking for mischief. They are, in effect, earth-bound and have not passed through to the realm of light as they should. Any mortal on the Earth plane who is dabbling with Spirit things without protection, shows up through the very heavy vibrations (like a fog) which cloak this planet, like a searchlight. That searchlight beam IS YOU! An innocent abroad, shining and being very attractive to those locked into the dark realms of the low planes. Perhaps they are earth-bound and not in the full Spirit realm. They will always be ready to take advantage of you and the opportunity of continuing to cause havoc, mischief and pain back on earth. You can suffer from their attention.
It is not for nothing that there are still people in primitive races still sticking pins in dolls and chanting incantations. Spirit is an immense force and should not be trifled with. In the property I am in there has been a ‘presence’ for many years. It was well known locally.
This man was afraid to go to pass through to the Spirit world. He became tied to the earth and this property. We asked a psychic member of our group to clear the property and stop the small nuisances going on here. She achieved this quite easily engaging with the male presence. It was a sorry tale that had held the man back for many years.
The presence, a man, did not want to move on as he feared that in the last years of his life he had been hitting his wife. This was due to the dementia he was suffering from. It was explained to him that this was not, in effect, him but a result of his mental state. That would be taken into account and he happily moved on. Shortly after the clearing we noticed a very lovely flower smell which marks the area he used to stand in his misery. This happened several times and marked a very satisfying clearing, both for us and the suffering Soul. Very pleasing.
