Already, you should have picked up a number of points in respect of the operation of a Safe Circle session. I need to broaden this out now to give you a better picture of the whole process.
It needs to be a little wordy but it is important that you understand the whole rationale, reason and purpose of a Circle.
You can go wrong, that can be dangerous and I must emphasise certain points to help you to conduct a safe, productive and happy Circle experience. So bear with the school teacher style I will adopt.
SETTING UP A CIRCLE
A circle is really only about having some friends round and, in a structured way, enjoying an hour exchanging communication with those who have passed into the Spirit world. This World exists and is from where your Soul came, and will return to, at an allotted time in the future.
The important things re this simple explanation are as below:
FRIENDS
The members of the Circle need to be friends. If you get a member or members who have diverse ideas about what is generally agreed is the truth, or reality in respect of Spirit, then the Circle does not have the friendly atmosphere which should pervade the meeting. The vibrations are disturbed or wrong. This simply won't do. It will cause the Circle to become a war of beliefs. It would also reduce the level of vibration needed to assist good contact.
You need to be aware that Spirit has to fight from their dimension through the 'clag' which surrounds our earthly dimension. Good contact becomes difficult for Spirit, if not impossible if the power and love from the members of the Circle is not unanimous. The vibration between the two parties will be wrong.
It should be realised that there can be wide personal diversity's within the Spiritual community in respect of our spirit link. This can upset some relationships within the Circle and needs to be controlled.
In any case It simply is not right that we welcome our Spirit contacts with their love and light to contact us, if they are faced with a fractious mob!
I say this with some feeling having witnessed two Spiritual Churches at war with each other in one town in which we lived. Peace and love were not to be seen!
LEADERSHIP
As there needs be harmony in the Circle it means there is a need for a leader. How this is organised is up to the members to sort out.
It is obviously helpful if you are in a Circle with a person experienced in spiritual matters who understands the concept and actuality of Spirit. They of course would naturally bring some useful strong spirit power with them. That person should also have a concept of the need to keep order and a good idea of how the Circle is constructed. For example, is it balanced, does everyone have the same 'value', are various opinions respected, is control of the Circle good and so on.
The leader would be expected to arrange the forward dates of sittings with members. And in particular, provide good internal communication so that everyone knows what is expected and what the 'rules' are.
