THE FOLLOWING TEXT IS FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO WISH TO SET UP A CIRCLE BUT WITHOUT EXPERIENCED PSYCHICS OR A MEDIUM IN THE CIRCLE.

THOSE FOLKS WITH EXPERIENCE IN PSYCHIC MATTERS WILL RECOGNISE MUCH THAT IS WRITTEN HERE.

If you want, or need to, set up a Circle WITHOUT a person on your sitting who is an experienced psychic or medium, then you really do need to read, understand and follow the guidance given above.
Easily the best way to tread the safe path and develop your psychic ability is through joining a group at a Spiritualist Church or tuition with an experienced psychic. That way you will avoid harmful actions and learn much about the wonders and powers of Spirit, including healing.
For many this is difficult to arrange, or not the way they want to go.
So if you want to be proficient and knowledgeable enough to run your own Circle I offer the advice below.
If possible, and to maintain the momentum and dedication, try to meditate or use one of the many relaxing ways with a companion or group. Although in the frantic nature of life today, you can 'go within yourself' in the same way that many people use, lighting a candle and watching it (a physical way of achieving mental piece allowing Spirit to get closer); you can achieve much mentally.
Slowing down and controlling your breathing can help.
It does not replace meditation which allows you to build up your power but stops the intrusion of everyday life and connects you, however briefly to Spirit.
